I have no idea how cold it is in Hong Kong.
Did it snow? I have never seen snow for the ten years of life that I have been living in 珠海...
We had a snow storm here last night! It was about -3 degrees and it snowed about 15-30 cm. My school was closed at noon and forced us to go home. But then I had to go to work at 5pm, so I ended up going to work.
I was 3 hours early and so I made a big snow man outside of work.
The best thing about Canada is the snow you get, ^^
Oh, -3 is actually warmer now, a few days ago was -10 or lower.
hks_sing 2008-2-2 23:34
Now is around seven to eight degree celsius...
Since it is rainning in this week, when the wind is blowing, you could feel your bone freezing.....:061: :061:

To Seacy: May be you are used to the cold weather but we are not.
In contrast, you may not used to the hot weather in Hong Kong summer.....:081:
Just a joke: You may have a fever if you visit Hong Kong in August.....:051:
It's incredibly hot in Auguest in Hong Kong.

Hot is not the problem.
The key point is Hong Kong's humidity

It is so uncomfortable

Man I know! That's why I am not going to go to Hong Kong anytime soon.
Well, I never really liked Hong Kong that much, mainly because of the air pollution there.
In 2003 I went back to China once, I stayed at Hong Kong for like a little bit because of I had to get off the airplane there, and then boat to ZhuHai. Before it was about 30 degrees the highest there, does it go up to 40 now?
Over here, the highest is around 30 degrees something during July and August, but that's it. It's warm over in China ever since like March or April. During that time, we are still snowing! XD
The summer here is a lot easier survive then China's not only because it's not as hot, but also... Ummmmm....
I forgot, if it's dry over here, then wet over there, or the other way around.
I think it's drier over here, so it's not as unbearable.
Oh well, if I do go to China, I am planning on doing so maybe in 2009 May, when it's still not THAT hot yet.

in Australia, we have quite an unusual climate (Melbourne).
1 month ago, it was so hot that (40 degree celsius) that i bought a portable air-conditioner, only for the price for another air-con that i was eyeing to drop...:010:
2 weeks ago, it was so hot that on some days, it was nearly humid like in Brisbane/South-east asia. While it is only 25 degree celsius, I have to switch on the air-con.
This week, it is back to 20's again after 30's for the last two days.
I have absolutely no idea what will happen tomorrow... monsoon season? maybe?
yukitsu 2008-2-13 06:22
Well, Australia is on the Southern Hemisphere. You guys get more sun than us right now. While I am in Canada which is pretty close to the North Pole. Our night starts at around 5:30pm, and today we have a snow storm of about 15cm of snow. Yesterday it was minus 17 degrees celsius, and if you count the wind chill it was at least minus 25. I am freezing... let's switch.
